Jasmin Singer can usually be found traipsing through Washington Heights or Soho. Her writing has appeared in VegNews, Satya, Heeb, and others. When she’s not writing articles or eating bean curd, she is quite possibly co-leading a Veganism101 Workshop (voted the Village Voice Choice), performing in a play, looking for her glasses, or trying to pass state legislation to ban foie gras production.

Jasmin is the Outreach Coordinator for Farm Sanctuary, the nation’s leading farmed animal protection organization. She has a BFA in Acting, an MA in Integrative Health Studies, and a Holistic Health Counseling certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Her days are made fruitful by precious pitbull Rose, feisty feline Xhosa, and sweetheart Mariann.
